Kayla Hunt was my son’s clarinet teacher for 3 years and in his words “set him on his way on his clarinet endeavors.” Tom, my son, began his clarinet “endeavors” in 6th grade and Kayla worked with him on a weekly basis until she moved (we were sad to see her go). Tom still plays the clarinet and is now a junior in high school.

Tom learned foundational skills from Kayla. I remember very fondly the wonderful recitals that Tom had under Kayla’s tutelage. Kayla was the perfect instructor for Tom. She put him at ease and helped him realize his potential in a nurturing and comfortable way. She established an excellent practice schedule and understood what worked and what didn’t for Tom.

In short, Kayla was an excellent instructor and I would recommend her without qualifications
