Piano lessons with Kayla are wonderful! The environment is positive and supportive. Kayla combines education, discipline and fun in just the right amounts to keep my daughter curious, engaged and eager. Our daughter’s confidence has grown tremendously and we are thrilled to have music in our home.

B# Studio has been a great resource for our family. I was initially drawn to the fact that Kayla Hunt is well versed in several woodwind instruments as well as piano. She has helped my two girls gain confidence in playing and performing the flute and clarinet. I was amazed at the progress even after a few months. She expects great things from her students and they are motivated to reach those goals! The lessons are challenging but fun – music theory and history are incorporated into the schedule as well. I like the structure the weekly lessons provide and appreciate Kayla’s ability to encourage and motivate my girls to do their best. On a personal note I appreciate that Kayla is prompt, courteous, and clear in her communication – a true professional. I’m very pleased with our experience with B# Studio. It’s a great place to start or expand musical ability.

My daughters have been taking music lessons from Kayla for over three years. The girls adore Kayla, and her teaching style is the perfect mix of discipline and fun. She provides incentives, competitions, and performance opportunities for all of her students. Knowing nothing about reading or playing music when they first began lessons, my children have progressed to the point where both girls now play two instruments each. Our home is filled with music, the girls are growing in their self confidence, and one of my children even says she would like to be a music teacher when she grows up. I was looking for a flute teacher for my daughter in high school, who needed someone to challenge her.She can play several instruments, but the flute is her main instrument.And Kayla was a perfect match for her.She challenged her and pushed her, which is what she needed.Kayla recognized this in my daughter.She not only teaches music, but also excellent form. I have had four children take piano lessons from Ms. Kayla and am so impressed with how fast they have learned music and are playing beautiful songs! My youngest two kids started with her at ages 5 and 6. She makes the lessons fun with time for games to help them learn their notes. They look forward to their lessons every week! Kayla Hunt taught my daughter piano for two years, building upon the basic foundation, note reading, music dynamics and playing with ease in front of an audience. She was remarkably patient with my daughter and my daughter always loved going to her weekly piano lesson and building upon her lessons each week at home while she practiced. Kayla’s enthusiasm for the piano was contagious and she always kept my daughter engaged during the lesson and my daughter was always eager to impress Kayla. Kayla Hunt was my son’s clarinet teacher for 3 years and in his words “set him on his way on his clarinet endeavors.” Tom, my son, began his clarinet “endeavors” in 6th grade and Kayla worked with him on a weekly basis until she moved (we were sad to see her go). Tom still plays the clarinet and is now a junior in high school.
Tom learned foundational skills from Kayla. I remember very fondly the wonderful recitals that Tom had under Kayla’s tutelage. Kayla was the perfect instructor for Tom. She put him at ease and helped him realize his potential in a nurturing and comfortable way. She established an excellent practice schedule and understood what worked and what didn’t for Tom.

I have been playing the flute for almost 10 years now. Those years have been filled with playing in concert bands, all throughout my schooling and now into college, marching bands, orchestras and a number of individual solo opportunities. All of this started by having Kayla Hunt as my first flute teacher. Her passion for music inspired me to be better, along with her versatile teaching strategies helped me to stay focused and engaged. Kayla helped propel me as a flutist giving me the basic understanding of rhythm, tone quality, and most importantly a love of music. In junior high I was one of only three flutes to be selected for the jazz band.
One of my biggest accomplishments that Kayla lead me to was, I was handpicked my 8th grade year to present a solo piece to renowned flutist, Ronda Larson in one of her master classes as she was passing through Montana. Playing music opens so many doors and creates lifelong friendships. Kayla truly helped me get on my feet and created all the building blocks a flute player needs, as well as helping me to develop my skills that I still use and get praised for today, as a college sophomore.

Kayla is a very skilled musician. She taught my girls piano and flute. As a result of the lessons, my daughter won an award for best player in her band! Kayla was also able to find us a very nice flute at a reasonable price. I would recommend Kayla to anyone looking for music lessons.
