Kayla Hunt grew up on her family's cattle ranch in Whitehall, Montana. Her passion for music began in fifth grade when she started playing the flute. Though high school she received multiple excellent and superior ratings at music festivals. She attended Montana State University where she was a select candidate for the 2006 Concerto Competition. After graduating with a B.A. in Music and minor in creative writing she moved to Anchorage, Alaska. Kayla was hired by a private music studio to teach woodwinds and piano to ages six through eighty. In 2012 she moved back to Bozeman, Montana. Kayla has been teaching for twenty years. She teaches each student according to their learning style and pace.
